In 1963, Jurgen Jungbauer came to America with $30 in his pocket and enlisted in the U.S. Army as a pastry chef. This is his story, as told by one of the 800 gnomes in his authentic German restaurant. Yes, you read that right.

As part of the No Mean City initiative, I wrote the script that served as a framework for this mini-documentary.
